The BMI Group, in partnership with the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA), has successfully launched Niagara Ports at Bioveld (the Thorold Multimodal Hub). Together they have transformed legacy industrial facilities into a thriving home to over 25 businesses. This revitalization earned them a 2023 'Brownie' Brownfield Redevelopment Award. With extensive expertise in managing and leasing industrial space, HOPA continues to "create and lead an integrated port network on the Great Lakes," operating key marine and port assets in Hamilton, Oshawa, and Niagara.
